If you’ve noticed something off, our tests are probably gonna confirm what you’ve known all along. Chlorine
Chlorine is one of the biggest things we look for with our free test. This chemical can be sneaky since you might not smell it unless it’s mixing with other contaminants. You might notice cloudy water or a chlorine smell on your skin after a shower. It can end up in the steam that you breathe in from your shower, so it’s good to test for it even if you don’t drink your tap water.
pH
If your water has a low pH, you might notice an acidic taste. Over time, this acidic water can cause your pipes to wear out faster and get corroded. On the other end of the scale, water with a high pH isn’t much better. It has a bitter taste, and instead of corroding your pipes, can cause a build-up of minerals on the inside. That might be the reason for your low water pressure or clogs. We test the pH of your water to see if there are any problems.
Water “Hardness”
If you hear a plumber say you have “hard water,” it just means there are a lot of minerals in your water. It’s nothing to be worried about, but it can cause problems with your plumbing like mineral build-up. It can also make your skin and hair feel dry and uncomfortable after a shower.
Once we test your water, it’ll only take a few minutes to get your results back. Then we can talk about what you’ll need to do next. If you have poor quality water, our plumbers will let you know what you can do to fix it. We might recommend a water softener, water filtration, or a water purification system. There are lots of ways to fix water that has too many minerals or chlorine.

We’ll take a sample of your water and test it with our in-office lab equipment. We can then follow up with you the following day to explain the results and answer anything about ways to improve your water quality.
